Shipping & Returns

Collection in person

We are based on the Surrey-Hampshire-Berkshire border and are more than happy for items to be collected in person from our warehouse.

UK Delivery

UK delivery is £3.95 for orders under £50 and free for orders £50 and over.

UK orders are sent tracked and insured by either Hermes, Collect Plus or similar. If you have any particular requirements please contact us to quote.

International Delivery

For international delivery please contact us for rates quoting the item you're interested in purchasing. 

Dispatch Times

Items will be dispatched to you within five working days of receiving an order, if there is any potential delay this will be communicated to you as soon as possible and the option to accept the delay or receive a refund given.

We will inform you by email when the items have been sent as well as sending you tracking numbers where possible.

Returns / Order Cancellation

Under the UK Online Distance Selling Regulations you are entitled to a fourteen day cooling off period in which you entitled to a full refund including your initial delivery charge, starting from the day you receive the goods. Return postage is at your own cost.

If only part of the original order is returned you will not receive a refund of your original postage cost.

Please email shop@retromojo.co.uk, quoting your name, order number and item/s to cancel.

Unfortunately after the fourteen days no refund will be given for a change of mind or the item is no longer wanted or required.

Faulty Goods

All items are inspected and cleaned thoroughly prior to posting for sale. Any damage to note - chips, scratch, fleabites etc - will all be mentioned in the description. It is the nature of vintage items to have an acceptable amount of wear and tear commensurate with age.

That said if we have missed something please email us a photo for our evaluation. In over twenty years of selling online though to this date we've never had an item returned due to missed damage or mis-described.

If we have made a mistake on an item sent to you or it is faulty or damaged then we will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item and any return costs.

Electrical Items

All vintage electrical items are sold as un-tested. Wiring is visually inspected as are plugs and fuses before sending an item out but responsibility for insuring the electrical compatibility falls with the purchaser.

Provenance / Descriptions

We try to describe items as accurately as possible and bring to your attention anything we feel necessary.

All dimensions are approximate. 

All makers, designers and manufacturers are to be taken as advisory. We heavily research all the items we sell and often speak to other experts in the field and we describe our items provenance as accurately as possible.

Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for mis-description or mis-information.

Ultimately a beautiful, well made item is just that, whoever it is made by.

Returns by Post

Please remember to ask the Post Office/Hermes/Collect Plus etc for your proof of posting certificate and retain it for your reference.

Import Taxes/Duty

You are responsible for any import duty or taxes on orders delivered to your country.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

If we have been unable to resolve a complaint you can direct your complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, which is available at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr 

Statutory Rights
